Lots to unpack here. First of all, leaving women alone isn't about "being sensitive and understanding", it should just be normalized. Do we discuss the idea of leaving men alone? No, we just do it, no questions asked. I'm really disturbed you turned this into a "not all men" thing. Why is it so hard to see the problem? Most women report being harassed, followed, abused, assaulted. by MEN. That, by default, makes this a PROBLEM. Yes, not all men. Nobody is dismissing good men, I don't know where you got that statistic. I love good men. Send them my way. Who is chasing after this aggressive 20% you referenced? I am not, and I don't know any woman who is. You're making it sound like women respond positively to aggressive behavior (?). I know many good men, and trust me, they are highly sought after. And you know what - even if they're not, it should be fine. No one (woman OR man) owes anyone any interest, whether they're nice or not. I'm disappointed and sad. It's frustrating to read something like this, especially this week, in 2021. What is it going to take to stop the victim blaming? I don't understand.
